The Duracell CP1 or CP3553 is the first high-power lithium DISPOSABLE prismatic battery specifically designed for the latest digital cameras. Support for the CP1 or CP3553 battery is being designed into many recently released cameras such as the Samsung Digimax V700, Nikon Coolpix 5200, Samsung Digimax U-CA 3, Vivitar ViviCam 3930 and the the HP Photosmart R707.

The CP1 or CP3553 battery is the disposable equivalent of the Nikon EN-EL5 lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

The CP1 or CP3553 battery also has the same dimensions as the Fuji NP60 lithium-ion battery. If your camera accepts the Fuji NP60 it may also be able to take this CP1 or CP3553 battery - check your user handbook. Examples that do are the Vivitar ViviCam 3930 and the Vivitar ViviCam V4000. Do not risk recharging the CP1 battery by attaching your A/C adapter or putting the camera in its docking station unless your user guide tells you that it is safe to do so.
