The Small Battery Company is the approved UK based distributor and retailer of primary battery products from EEMB. The extensive range includes Lithium Thionyl Chloride (Li-SoCL2), Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li-MnO2) and Lithium Sulphur Dioxide (Li-SO2 ). Rechargeable (secondary) battery products such as Li-ion and Li-ion Polymer are also offered. 

These Lithium chemistries offer distinct advantages over other battery systems, the most significant being low self-discharge, high reliability, the highest energy density of any electrochemical power source.

• High and stable operating voltage. Rated voltage 3.6 Volts.
• Excellent shelf life (10 years) and low self-discharge (less than 1% after 1 year of storage at +25ºC).
• Suited for long-term use with low current drain.
• Light weight and High Energy Density.
• Excellent Leakage Resistance and excellent Long-term Reliability - UL approved
• Stainless steel container with hermetic glass-to-metal sealing.
• High energy bobbin-type.
• Temperature range from -45°C to +85°C.

  - Hi-Power Type

A range of beautifully engineered and UL approved cylindrical Lithium Thionyl Chloride (Li-SoCL2) cells boasting the following characteristics:

• High Power type has spiral structure.
• Suited for high current drain, both continuous and pulse.

Industrial Lithium - Cylindrical Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li-MnO2)

A range of beautifully engineered and UL approved cylindrical Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li-MnO2) cells boasting the following characteristics:

• Light Weight and High Energy Density
• High and stable operating voltage. Rated voltage 3 Volts.
• Outstanding Temperature Characteristics - from -40°C to +70°C.
• Excellent Leakage Resistance and excellent Long-term Reliability - UL approved
• Excellent shelf life (10 years) and low self-discharge (less than 2% per year).
• No memory effect.
