CR2477 lithium button cells are used in a variety of applications. CR2477 cells with tags are required for building CMOS batteries with connectors (for example the Canon BN22). CR2477 cells are mounted into a variety of monitoring equipment because of the long life and high energy content of the battery. The CR2477 with solder tags is ideal for these applications.

The CR2477 with tabs has two solder tags. Each is a 3.0 mm tin plated nickel strip, which protrudes by 10mm. An insulation sleeve prevents accidental shorting.
