Comments:
The cylindrical LIR-14500-FT Lithium-Ion cell is an increasingly popular size of lithium-ion cells ('14' denotes the diameter and '500' the length in millimetres and tenth's of a millimetre respectively). It is frowned upon by the industry because it is so easy to confuse them with AA NiMH cells with potentially dangerous results. Nevertheless, the popularity of the AA format makes this cell increasingly adopted a power source for portable electronic devices such as tooothbrushes, power tools and many other applications.

Our LIR-14500-FT cells have been successfully used to replace exhausted cells in toothbrushes from Philips Norelco intheir Sonicare range, HQ range, RQ range and XL range.

Fits Philips Sonicare HX6100 HX6150 HX6902 HX6910 HX6911 HX6912 HX6930 HX6932 HX6933 HX6942 HX6952 HX6982 HX6311.

The lithium-ion technology used in these cylindrical LIR-14500-FT cell is light-weight and high voltage. It results in significantly higher energy density than NiCd and NiMH batteries.

The lithium-ion technology used in these cylindrical LIR-14500-FT cell has no 'memory-effect'.

This LIR-14500-FT requires the use of protection circuitry to keep the battery from over-charging, over-discharging, or over-heating. You will require knowledge of how to safely charge Li-ion cells. Failure to treat the cell correctly may cause it to become hot, explode or ignite. We cannot be held responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse of Li-Ion batteries.
